Join the UCMB as we embark on journey to replace our uniforms! Our current uniforms, first worn in 2008, are far past the industry-standard 10-year replacement period. A dedicated group of student and staff volunteers have meticulously cared for, altered, and organized the uniforms over the past 17 years. However, even the sturdiest uniforms will break down over time.

Founded in 1896, the UConn Marching Band (UCMB) is the heartbeat of UConn Nation. Comprised of more than 300 students from across 100 academic majors, the UCMB is one of the most visible and diverse student organizations on campus. The UCMB has a proud history of state, regional, and national performances. Recently, the UCMB’s successes have resulted in our invitations to perform as the only marching band at the 2024 Heisman Trophy Trust Legends Celebration and at a New England Patriots game for the first time since 1996.
