Tyler Campbell

Drumline Coordinator & Arranger

Tyler is a University of Connecticut alum (Music, Management Info Systems) and active musician and educator from Connecticut. Alongside Matt Bronson he enjoys arranging, teaching and coordinating the percussion section for the UConn Band. Performing credits include productions at The Goodspeed Opera House, TheaterWorks Hartford, Ivoryton Playhouse, Connecticut Repertory Theater and many more regional and community theater productions. He is an in-demand drummer for jazz, soul & rock groups spanning the greater Hartford area and also contributes guitars, keys and vocals for Madison Blues, an r&b/soul trio that performs frequently across the state of CT.

Tyler has contributed percussion arrangements for the UCMB since 2018, as well as arrangements for Texas High School bands (Willowridge HS, Thurgood Marshall) and over 60 vocal arrangements for college and high school groups.
With a passion for education and program development, Tyler has taught at programs across the state including Trumbull High School, Newtown High School, the 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps (2018) and Thames Valley Music School. He currently serves as Vice President for the Connecticut Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society.
