Matt Sauer

Drumline Instructor

As a UConn Alum ‘19 (BUSN), Matt has been active in the marching band community for the past decade. Originally from Milford CT, he grew up in Meriden CT and currently resides in Wallingford CT. He began his drumming career with the Francis T. Maloney Marching Band by starting out on Snare and continued with it throughout his time at UConn.

Matt was Center Snare at UConn in 2021 and 2022, Logistics Coordinator throughout the 2022 season, and an active Kappa Kappa Psi brother. Upon returning to UConn, his goal is to give back to the program that taught and gave him so much, and to provide further guidance to the incoming members.
